Same Sex Relationships
It seems like many people and even some christians want to debate same sex relations and same sex marriage. This is not a debatable subject. God said it is sin, period. Let’s take a look at two of the scriptures where God makes it perfectly clear on this subject. I’ve listed two different bible versions for better understanding.
1Co 6:9-10 (NKJV) Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
1Co 6:9-10 (NIV) Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Rom 1:24-27 (NKJV) Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
Rom 1:24-27 (NIV) Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
You can debate it all you want but it doesn't matter what anybody says about it. What matters is what God said about it. God is not going to change his word to fit your beliefs. Homosexuality is sin and an abomination to God.
This country and even some of our churches have compromised the word of God so much that even some Christians are being deceived and falling into the devils trap. Romans 1:32 tells us that it is wrong to even approve of these things. Don't pat people on the back and tell them it is okay. If you love them then tell them the truth. Their souls are at stake.
Do not hate anyone that is involved in a same sex relationship but do the opposite. Pray for them, let them know that you love them, be kind to them but also let them know that you do not approve of what they are doing. If you love them don’t lie to them.
